I have lived in caleta de fuste Fuerteventura for going on three years now, and can safely say, I have never been more content. The quality & pace of life here is fantastic, and each day feels like a Saturday – particularly as I work hard most days.
The island is limping through the credit crunch, as the only way to get to our island in any volume of numbers is by aeroplane, so we have to contend with jet fuel prices, as well as reluctant vacation-takers concerned about the weak Euro right now.
But it may not be all doom and gloom, I may see a little light at the end of this long tunnel, but its not here quite yet.
