I have always owned a retail ski shop for as long as I can remember, as my father owned it prior to me. When the ski season hits, the sales of our shop are up tremendously but during the summer months, the shop is obviously slow. I started to carry a popular line of skateboarding equipment and clothes for the local boys. With each purchase, I gave them Free Volcom Skateboarding Stickers. The kids loved to just come into my shop and hang out for a while because the atmosphere was conducive to their sport and their interests. I was proud to be able to help these boys find their own passions.
