Like many North Americans, I’ve found myself without a job over the past 6 months. These past 6 months have been very hard, but with the help of friends and family I’m making it through. I’m looking for new jobs each and every day. When I do have spare time I try to read books that will help me become a better father and husband. I really want to be good with finances, so I’m reading a book about financial freedom. The book recommends personal bank checks as opposed to using your credit card. The book also really encourages you to live within your means.
