Avoid dents by not wearing high-heeled shoes on the wood floor. They can easily dent the surface and cause permanent damage. Also, never use any type of vacuum with a beater bar. Finally, always use furniture pads under any furniture you plan on moving on a hardwood floor. It will avoid scratches.
