I love working in the hospital as a nurse and the people who are entrusted to my care are like family to me. I have spent many years working in the surgical ward and before that I was in the physical medicine area working with patients who were in varying stages of recovery from injuries or surgical procedures. I now am more interested in working with younger patients. I am currently studying up on pediatric nursing models to get a basic idea of how the theories of care are formulated in that area of the hospital. This will help me think in the right way to be transferred to that floor.
