I’ve been buying Used cars maintaining them well & will sell them soon at a good price. Then buy another nice & latest car. This has been the pattern I’ve been following for sometime. So I think my Top 5 tips can help you save quite a bit of money & still get you a Nice Car. Lets get to the Tips to buy Used Cars straight:
1. Get the car completely checked by a certified professional service center even if you need to pay a service fee, its one hell of thing which you should never miss.
2. Get a mechanic friend or get a mechanic pay him little fee for just 2 hours, get him to take you on a test drive this car for not less than 10 miles, ya I know you can take the car owner or you cant take the car dealer representative so that they dont mind you going on a long ride. This is really important as lots of decision making can be made based on such a detailed drive analysis. Its simple several cars show their cracks when you go for a little longer drive.
3. Check the make, mileage & gas consumption yourself & dont rely on someone else , you can do that by emptying the tank & filling known quantity of gas when you are taking that 10 mile test drive along with your mechanic friend.
4. Get a small legal contract type of document signed by the present owner/dealer saying they are responsible for any things related to the history of that car. This is to avoid cops knocking on ur door for a car related accident which happened few months/years back involing the car u r planning to buy.
5. Make sure to get your new car owner or car dealer in a Video where they answer all your questions & buy the car only if they answer all your questions without any facts being hidden. If they are hesitant in answering some question thats a sign of some trouble. Make sure to cross check as many things as possible before you make up your mind to buy that used car.
Good luck in your Car purchase experience make sure you be safe than sorry.
