My best friend was very upset. She had banked everything on getting a scholarship to the college that she had her heart set on. When the scholarship went to someone else, she was devastated. She said she would not be able to go because of the cost. I told her she was being ridiculous and needed to get undergraduate student loans. There was no reason why she still could not go to the school she desired. Even though it wasn’t her first choice, she realized there were benefits to getting financial help. She looked into it, and started the process of securing her future. She can’t wait to go.
