When my wife and I decided that we wanted to begin working on our dream home, my first thought was about the finances. We had saved up some money, but I knew that we were going to have to get at least a $10000 loan to cover everything. We figured that we would start with what we have, go as far as we can, and then get the loan when we absolutely need it. That way, we could avoid paying on anything that we weren’t going to use right away. We also wouldn’t be tempted to spend it on something we don’t need.
